The advancement of technology is what most of us long for. The transition from low technology to high technology can be seen through the gadgets that were created from the past up to the near future. We grew up imagining what the technology would be like as the years go by. If you have ever seen the movies “Back to the Future and Richie Rich”, you would see the different gadgets that were created that jumpstarted our imagination for what is to come. There are things that we are still wishing to have or be created. These things might be a combination of the different gadgets that would make our lifestyle even easier than it already is. However, there are inventions or things that are still to be invented that we consider as the top gadgets.
For generations, we have seen the different transition of celphones, computers, storage devices, music players and many more gadgets that were created. Each transformation left us in admiration and with gusto in buying every product. We all have desired to have the latest gadgets or the gadgets that we imagined to be the most perfect creation ever made. If you were given the opportunity on having the best gadgets, what would the geek in you think of? In every decision that we make, we tend to weigh the product’s functionality and if it is practical to use since these days people opt for practicality as well. If you were to choose anything and I mean anything that has been created or some gadget that needs improvement, what would that be?
First and foremost, we now discuss the gadget that is widely used by most of the populace as a means of communication. This gadget has been around and it is considered as one of the most important creations man has ever made. This gadget is called the phone. The phone is one of the top gadgets that are widely bought by consumers since communicating to loved ones and other people is really important. It is a convenient gadget and it is better than sending snail mails or telegrams since with one push of a button you can now talk to the person you love. Phones have evolved over time. It started as a product that needs wires to be able to connect to a product that is wireless and mobile.
The invention and reinvention of phones took technology to a higher level with its sophisticated designs and functions. It is now able to function as a camera, an mp3 player, a computer, and many more. These functions grabbed the people’s attention into needing them even with its ridiculous price. However, as years passed, phones have evolved into a more practical and affordable gadget. Mobile phones these days come with a wide variety of choices which the consumer can choose from that would match his or her needs. There are mobile phones that are specifically created for the different personalities there is. A music phone, for example, is specifically created for all the music lovers out there. This kind of phone has a characteristic of an MP3 to an MP4 player accompanied with a high quality audio.
Some phones, on the other hand, are specifically created for people who love to take pictures, videos and share them with their loved ones. This kind of phone functions as a point and shoot camera and a video camera as well. For this phone, the camera is usually high end which gives a crystal clear resolution to every photo and video that are taken. Some phones are also created as a substitute for a laptop or a computer. These phones are what we call now as the smart QWERTY phones that are available in the market. This particular creation is usually for the consumers who are always on the go. Since laptops are heavy to carry, this invention would serve as a mini computer for anyone to bring with. It has functions that would create and edit word files and many more. The consumer can also use the phone to e-mail and use the internet as well.
Second, we now discuss another one of the top gadgets that are widely used by the populace these days. This gadget is what the geek inside of us thank its inventors with passion. Personal Computers have been around for decades. Mostly all of us have seen the evolution of this product into a more sophisticated and advanced form. From desktop computers to laptops and to the most advanced form which is called the tablet personal computer, we all have experienced having a thirst to own one this. The tablet personal computer is the mobile version of computers. It is not as small as a mobile phone. However, it is also not as big as a laptop. This invention comes with a touch screen interface and it has all the cool functions of a personal computer.
It functions as a laptop that can connect to a WIFI internet connection which enables the consumer to surf the net and download or upload files, a camera that takes and records videos, a music player that plays the user’s most favourite tracks, and somehow a vessel for communicating since it can use programs such as messengers to be able to communicate to your loved ones. He or she can also use this gadget to create and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint files and many more. It has various operating systems or OS depending on the company that made them. This gadget has been embraced by the community and is bought mainly by kids and people who are always on the go. Because of its portable feature, this is much more preferred by the populace. The tablet personal computer also has a long lasting battery since it can last up to 5 hours before the user can plug it in and charge it.
As you can see, technology is always on the verge of advancement. However, the aforementioned inventions above are the two most sought after, bought, and used by almost all of the consumers in the entire world which makes the two inventions as the top gadgets out of all of the gadgets that were ever created.
