Those who loved the puzzle described it as fun for any age. One of them even said this was one of her favorite puzzles, as it was simple and came with a good feel while presenting much challenge minus the frustration. He also described it as great tabletop entertainment as guests were found to be attracted to it. Although it was not that difficult for advanced players of puzzles, it was still found to be fun. He also said it was a great gift for those with vision problems, as it only worked the hands. The other reviewer also described it as a fun teaser, and shared how she liked watching other people trying to figure it out. She actually kept the puzzle in her office desk and would always find her colleagues trying to take it apart. She also commended its durability, as it was made of wood.

The last reviewer who was not too happy with the puzzle was disappointed to see that it was not smoothly constructed: he found that even before he took apart the puzzle, the long pieces in the middle stuck out slightly. He actually owned a similar puzzle in a square shape and he had had no issues with that, so he speculated the issue to be only in terms of manufacturing the circular puzzle. He conceded that it was a good concept, but that he simply would not buy this as a gift as it did not look like it was worth the price.
